No one was looking, but unknown saboteurs knocked out power to the Crimean Peninsula on Sunday. What does this mean for the conflict there?

According to multiple sources, Ukrainian patriots are responsible for blowing up two sets of power lines on Friday, two more on Sunday, effectively cutting all power to the peninsula except from local generators. Meanwhile, ethnic Tatars have been attempting to blockade roads leading into the peninsula, constricting supplies. With Russia very engaged in Syria, I think their response and ability to respond will be very telling.
My guess is that with Putin trying to get sanctions lifted, he will try to downplay this, for now. He can always come back with the hammer later.
