My platoon sergeant is telling us that we have to complete our ssd1 or we can&#39;t graduate. But I was told that we can turn in our certificate to our s1 and getting paid extra if we do it at home. And yes, if you do it at home outside of Army time, you can get paid for it. The certificate and other documents need to go in tandem. But you get paid for the number of hours the course is. Any electronic based distance learning qualified. 40 hr course got you a week of RMA's. SSD is one of the trainings that qualifies. <br /><br />However, if you have been ordered to do it while on a duty status, you won't be able to request pay for it again - you were already paid for it by being in a duty status.
