I was afraid I wouldn't be able to answer that. They fit. But honestly it'd be more of a 50/50 since I still don't see the purpose for the new PT uniform. They could have kept the same APFU and simply transitioned the change in fabric onto the market through IET and Clothing and Sales. It would be that much different of a process than when they changed the APFU winter jacket to include the holograms, and would have saved a ton of money. Why are there two within the same year?
This is a great burden of the average Soldier especially when Congress and all those characters who do not care about us are looking for ways to reduce our pay instead of theirs.

I find it hilarious how those in the decision making process thought it would be a good idea to go with an all black fitness uniform without reflection on it. Since they obviously do not do Fitness Training anymore they forgot the hours of when it is done. During the hours of darkness mostly! I guess the risk assessment was not done. :)

now for the duty uniform, we definitely needed that as the ACU's are the most useless uniform since I have been in.

I am just hoping the MCSS can get the stuff in. We are still not able to get the new Fitness Uniform up here in Alaska.

Overall, I think of the average Soldier and all the reduction in pay like BAH and a joke of a pay raise; these factors make it hard for them to afford it. The Top does not place that into their MDMP! Now if the Army as a whole would just do away with the PT it would be better. I would like to see another uniform that portrays a more professional appearance, because unless you take an iron to the ACU's they look like garbage. Do away with all the Velcro and go with either buttons or zippers that won't tear up every few months and require replacing. If we are supposedly going back to the garrison environment then we need to look our best. I can't finish a sentence before a new uniform change! It has cost the Army a million dollars on just printing a new 670-1 every 3 days!
