What you wrote, the way you've lived your life, will take you far - not only in the military, but in life in general.

It's great to see SMA Dailey say that about being a Soldier.

Although we may not trumpet this every day, I think most SMs and a lot of veterans still live their lives that way -- serving our nation with pride and humility at the same time.

I find it interesting that we get a lot of who we are from our upbringing (at home), but then service in the military shapes who we are and who we will be (for some) for the rest of our lives.Response by CW5 Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 21 at 2015 5:43 PM2015-03-21T17:43:36-04:002015-03-21T17:43:36-04:00SFC Michael Hasbun544229

So long as you don't allow who you were to keep you from becoming who you could be...Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Mar 21 at 2015 6:13 PM2015-03-21T18:13:22-04:002015-03-21T18:13:22-04:00CSM Michael J. And, many leaders do not realize how many service members send money home to help their families! We cannot forget where we started.Response by CSM Michael J.
