I was injured while on duty as Law Enforcement officer. How do I get disability pay from the VA because of my injury that is being treated through the VA?

Is your injury related to your military service? Were you already assigned percentage for the injury or is this a new addition? If this is something new you are adding you would need to submit a claim. You can submit yourself through ebenfits or through an advocate such as a VSO.

Where you injured in the service as Air Force Security, or on a Civilian job? If the injury wasn't service related, it doesn't qualify for disability for pay. If it is service related and you had medical care while in the service, you can file for an increase online, through the patient advocate or through any of the Veteran Service Organizations.
That whole thing is a process and it isn't quick. 90 to 120 days would be normal.

LEO indicating your civilian job, if you already somewhat of a rating they will treat you and charge your civilian insurance if you have any.

If the i fury is civilian you may as well not apply for an increase in rating. If it was as a military LEO then you can have your case reviewed as indicated by others.
