Name an Army engine that has a Ceramic Coated Exhaust? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/name-an-army-engine-that-has-a-ceramic-coated-exhaust

Ceramic Coating is not a new thing, it has been around for years. What is the advantage you may ask? Ceramic coating does several things, first it keeps the external temperature of the exhaust system cooler. Advantage of this is it allows those hot exhaust gasses to leave the combustion chamber faster. The faster the spent gasses leave the combustion chamber, the more fuel gets drawn in. Increasing the amount of power available. A simple thing, but very effective. Now if you said the M109A6 Paladin you would be correct, there may in fact be other engines, but I know the Paladin had this done to it to help get more horsepower and torque out of the engine. No.

The advantage of the coating is it keeps the heat in the gas, which increases the velocity (excited particles) and spins the turbine faster.
