SFC Private RallyPoint Member137141<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I received a temporary profile recently for shin splints and a bad knee from my Battalion PA. When I went to view/download my temp profile, I noticed there was a permanent profile in addition to the temporary one I received. The permanent profile is for a problem I have never suffered from and is signed by a Doctor(MAJ) I have never spoken to. <br /><br />This would be just a humorous occurence if it wasn't for this mystery profile changing my PULHES in the middle of me updating records for a Warrant Officer board.<br /><br />Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what steps did you take to correct this mistake? Even if this has not happened to you, I could sure use the advice. Thanks in advance!Mystery Permanent Profile in My Records2014-05-28T17:25:13-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member137141<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I received a temporary profile recently for shin splints and a bad knee from my Battalion PA. As I was doing my final out prior to retirement, I mysteriously had a P3 profile inserted into my records, which of course means automatic MEDBOARD. Keep in mind I had a DA approved retirement date. What I did was go back to the PA that submitted the P3 and asked her to change it to a P2. Action was taken care of.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 29 at 2014 12:16 PM2014-05-29T12:16:48-04:002014-05-29T12:16:48-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member184546<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Most likely what happened was the permanent was the first submitted, which causes e-Profile to generate a temporary. The temporary can be signed by a PA, but the permanent requires a second signature to take effect, depending on the PULHES it will generate. If the temp got signed, but the permanent was waiting for second signature, it would not upload the permanent to HRR until after the second signature was made, at which point the temp would automatically expire and the permanent would take effect. Granted, all of these programs still have glitches, but that is what I suspect happened.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 23 at 2014 12:53 PM2014-07-23T12:53:45-04:002014-07-23T12:53:45-04:00SSG William Sutter349217<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Go back to your doctor or request a telephone consult with them and have it removed.Response by SSG William Sutter made Nov 30 at 2014 11:59 PM2014-11-30T23:59:17-05:002014-11-30T23:59:17-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member349509<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SSG, the same thing happened to me, when preparing for the board. It is usually just a fudge on the docs fault and fat fingers someone who has a similar social. Its crazy how someone can have one digit off of your social, and be active army as well. Small world.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 1 at 2014 9:19 AM2014-12-01T09:19:09-05:002014-12-01T09:19:09-05:002014-05-28T17:25:13-04:00
