My girlfriend's grandfather served and has passed away. He was never given the proper respect. How can I get a copy of his official papers?

You can also get information from your local Casualty/ Mortuary Affairs Office.

Family can request DD 214. Call [login to see] get in touch with a rep from National Cemetery Adminstration (A branch of the VA). They will go over those benefits with the family,
