My friend has been a civil service employee for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 10 years. What benefits are there in the Air Force?

Any benefits towards time served or in general?

Not sure if her state service goes towards retirement or if it is just military time towards retirement.

What are the Air Force policies on/concerning tattoos?

yeah im not an expert but I would think that only military service matters. As far as airforce thing , well they always have been less strict about everything.

Update: is it possible to use your time working for state towards military time served? She wants to join the Air Force and is looking at all benefits associated with this fine branch.
