I say this due to the fact that your profile says Air Police, a term that also is no longer in use by the Air Force. This same time includes the switch from A1C (E4) to become Sergeant (E4) which then branched off to Sergeant and Senior Airman sharing E4 (in 1976 and the only difference being the White or Blue Star).

If you were discharged just prior to October 1967 (or on the cusp of the switch), then the A2C on your DD 214 stands correct. But, since there is not an A2C rank option on RP, then obviously A1C is the choice to go.

Since you didn't lose any pay, and after all this time.....I am curious as to the nature of why this is important?
