My daughter is in AF BMT and would like for me to wear my dress blues for her graduation. Is this appropriate now that I’m retired?

Why not? You are retired and as long as they fit well and you don't start going around giving orders you should be good. My last 'good' uniforms were the old Class B Khaki Uniform, Class A Dress Greens, Dress Blues.

In my opinion, and it is only my opinion, that is a perfectly acceptable time to wear your uniform. Your best reference would be the appropriate Air Force uniform regulation that covers the wear of the uniform as a Retired Service Member.

I'd say as long as the uniform fits properly and you can adhere to current Dress and Appearance standards (AFI 36-2903), go for it!!

Wish I could still wear my uniforms but unfortunately, the gremlins got into my closet and shrank my service dress two sizes smaller! lol
