The lower (and usually the upper) can be built upon to make different configurations ranging from "patrol rifle" to "national match."<br /><br />Having an AR15 in your collection is like owning a good watch. You want to have at least one. It goes with everything.Response by Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS made Feb 22 at 2016 12:27 PM2016-02-22T12:27:35-05:002016-02-22T12:27:35-05:00SPC James Dollins1321202<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Take it & keep it.Response by SPC James Dollins made Feb 22 at 2016 12:27 PM2016-02-22T12:27:55-05:002016-02-22T12:27:55-05:00Private RallyPoint Member1321245<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-80238"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">

Do you already have one? If not, grab and keep hold of it. First think of having tools before having toys. For general urban, a pump 12 gauge is good medicine. For rural, an AR has tons of versatility. For concealed, great options out there.<br /><br />Second thing is to consider and honor the source. Remember Dad will ask you every now and then about how the shooting with it is going. If you don't want your answer to come from the pucker hole, keep that in mind.<br /><br />Third is insurance. In the grand scheme of things, an AR is cheap insurance. Stock up with at least a couple thousand rounds and it will give you some peace of mind.<br /><br />Fourth, make sure you stay kosher with it. Several states have serious restrictions on magazines, magazine release methods, etc. Transporting is also not something to be ignorant on.<br /><br />Now you can have fun with it.Response by CAPT Kevin B. made Feb 22 at 2016 12:51 PM2016-02-22T12:51:27-05:002016-02-22T12:51:27-05:00Private RallyPoint Member1321295<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thank all of you,I've decided to get It from my dad and I will respect in and cherish it.Response by Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 22 at 2016 12:56 PM2016-02-22T12:56:26-05:002016-02-22T12:56:26-05:00CSM Charles Hayden1321304<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What an opportunity to own a weapon w/o a Federal/state record!<br /><br />If no agency is informed, they will never know!
