You must be a SSG or SGT(P) to apply. It’s an application MOS, meaning you apply and if they like what they see, they’ll accept you. Once you’re accepted you bring that memo to your career counselor to reclass. This IS NOT and entry level IT MOS.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 23 at 2020 3:42 PM2020-09-23T15:42:21-04:002020-09-23T15:42:21-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6513276<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I went as a SGT non p, and my IT experience did get waived, as we had many other MOS apply and get accepted with only SEC+. I learned quite a bit there and from others who had experience already a few said that their prior experience did not help because it was not related to all the security stuff we learned in the school house. I would recommend getting the hang of using Linux and being ready to study nearly all day every day for a 2 month period.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 19 at 2020 9:39 AM2020-11-19T09:39:14-05:002020-11-19T09:39:14-05:002020-09-23T14:01:35-04:00
