First, you must apply to the MOS and be accepted, and then after you are accepted you will reenlist with the SMAPP program. Generally, CI applicants will go through their local CI office or Agent to apply to the MOS. CI recruiting is decentralized, meaning every CI Special Agent has the ability to process CI applications and forward them to the CI recruiting board at the Office of the Chief of MI. Let me know if you have other questions, I am an Active Duty CI Agent.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 10 at 2015 2:49 AM2015-12-10T02:49:19-05:002015-12-10T02:49:19-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1164583

Go to https://www.ikn.army.mil and sign in with your CAC card. In the search box type CI recruiting. This will bring you to the official CI recruiting page, including a sample packet and guidance for Reserve/ NG Soldiers. Your packet and guidance is slightly different than AD.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 10 at 2015 2:53 AM2015-12-10T02:53:52-05:002015-12-10T02:53:52-05:002015-12-09T22:00:58-05:00
