SPC Private RallyPoint Member4823470<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The new Hot Weather OCPs are being sold at FT Benning Clothing and Sales locations, these new things are awesome, so naturally everyone and their cousin is buying them. This makes getting the correct sizes difficult and if you do, its hasnt been both items at once, today i was able to get just the jacket. I was just curious if anyone knows if you can mix and match the regular OCPs with the Hot Weather OCPS (Like Hot Weather jacket and regular bottoms) There hasn't been any official guidance on this that i have seen. If anyone has any info on this, it'd be great. And if there is specific guidance, could you link/post source material.Mixing and Matching of the new Hot Weather OCP and Regular OCP?2019-07-17T22:38:37-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member4823470<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The new Hot Weather OCPs are being sold at FT Benning Clothing and Sales locations, these new things are awesome, so naturally everyone and their cousin is buying them. There never has been. You were the matching tops and bottoms. Hots for hots, regular for regular. Don't get cute, don't get creative. If you don't have a matching set of hots you put in an order for what you are missing and until then you wear what you have that does match.Response by SSG Brian G. made Jul 17 at 2019 11:15 PM2019-07-17T23:15:34-04:002019-07-17T23:15:34-04:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member4823534<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>From what i gather they are noticeably different. In which case i would not mix and match. If i saw someone wearing a top without chest pockets and then regular pants i would probably say something. Not in a yelling or screaming way (just the way i am) but in a "hey I noticed it, dont do it again incase a more notable person notices."<br /><br />On that note, how are they? I havent heard of them until this post and just did some checking, do they actually feel more lightweight and breathable?Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 17 at 2019 11:25 PM2019-07-17T23:25:16-04:002019-07-17T23:25:16-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4823769<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a question for your NCO Support Channel. Or have you already asked and you are hoping for a different answer? Using a social media site as a reference for doing something is probably not going to go the way you want it to go. Just some advice.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 18 at 2019 5:32 AM2019-07-18T05:32:53-04:002019-07-18T05:32:53-04:00CSM Darieus ZaGara4824072<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No you cannot mix and match uniforms. Someone will notice and well that just won’t turn out well. <br /><br />Can’t wait to get on a base and try the new uniforms. There is no official guidance. They are both the exact pattern and look the same. Id prefer that than wearing a worn out top with new bottoms like we all constantly see. Im sure they will eventually address it once the new uniforms are in full production.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 9 at 2019 1:59 AM2019-08-09T01:59:07-04:002019-08-09T01:59:07-04:002019-07-17T22:38:37-04:00
