You really wonder if this can all be true. I do realize that we get wiser with time and much more aware of things but can all these children have real honest to goodness Social Issues or is this just a easy way out for maintenance of our Children?

At least 35 school shootings and/or school-related acts of violence have been committed by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 169 wounded and 79 killed (in other school shootings, information about their drug use was never made public—neither confirming or refuting if they were under the influence of prescribed drugs). Let's not forget that parents must CONSENT to the therapy of a minor. More information is available to the consumer than ever before. ALL drugs have risks, MOST have benefit. It is the informed (or not) parent who decide if the therapy happens. Buyer beware.

At a recent parent-teacher conference, I overheard an educator speaking with another parent. Based on the unruly behavior of the student, the teacher was recommending the child be evaluated for ADHD --or whatever the initials are this week. I just sat stunned thinking: While there is a functional failure on the parents' behalf, the school was completely enabling the issue. WTF? Slap a label on the kid, drug 'em up, and graduate 'em. School recommending drugged kids? I could go on...
