Military Trivia: The Blue Army Flag?

Today as I was walking through a building I fould a display of all the service flags but the the Army flag was blue. I have never seen this or recall seeing this. I asked a couple of people and no one knew of it and thought it to be an error in the color pattern. I later was able to find the origin of the flag. Learned something new.

What do you think this is? Without googling it.

If I recall correctly it's the colors used in the field (during combat operations).

I've never seen one like that before. All I could think of was (without Googling it) that it's a "Throwback" Army flag, like the Houston Oilers "Throwback" helmet.

OK since I can't google first...... It's a deployed environment/combat Army flag, given your second voting option makes me realize I may be off and it is actually called a "Field" Army flag.

I know its the Field Army Flag but I do not know what it is for. We had it at our center when I was in the AR.

I can only make out a few details. I see the what i think is the "don't tread on me" snake icon, a scroll, a bayonet, the American flag and perhaps a ceremonial flag of somesort. A helmet on a sword? A flagpole? A suit of armor that really looks like a dress for some reason. Milk jugs?!
Cannon balls?
I've stared at it long enough that I've gotten a surrealist vibe.
Error in the color print? I'm not so sure.
The flag depicting the 1775 date doesn't have anything to do with the Navy/Marine thing. *Edit* Ultra Marine Blue is actually a color. Well, well.
Don't Army ROTCs have their own guidons?
2LTs apparently salute anything

So, maybe it's ceremonial colors for Garrison commands?

Product Description
This U.S. ARMY FIELD FLAG is made to official Department of Heraldry specifications (G-Spec)and features the official Army crest appliqued onto a blue field. It is available in an indoor version (Pole hem and fringe) or outdoor version (grommets or snaphook & ring). It is also available is several sizes. P

The high cost of the Army Flag (due to the fact that it must be issued with the full set of embroidered campaign streamers) led to the development of the Army Field Flag. It is identical in design to the Army Flag except that the main colors are reversed (ultramarine blue field, white insignia, yellow fringe) and no campaign streamers are authorized. Dimensions are 3' at the hoist by 4' at the fly. Like the Army Flag, this flag is intended to be displayed indoors or carried on parade.

U.S. Army Field flag. My unit has one under authorization of a U.S. Army Element of a joint organization when commanded by a COL or BG. There are a number of other Army units who are authorized this flag under the AR.

None of these. It is the "Field Flag" used for outdoor ceremonies.
