Mentorship: Any fellow Graduate Students or Graduates majoring in Intelligence Studies?

I'm currently enrolled at APU, just looking for some mentorship through the program. Nothing extensive, but someone who has been there and done that, willing to answer questions when they arise. Thanks!

Which is that one? Amer Public Univ? What major are you doing? What was your bach major, and any assocs? Grades? GPAs? I gather you're doing a masters? Thesis? Non-thesis? Did you want Ph.D. at all at some point? Have you tried yet for either USAF AFIT or Naval Postgrad School (NPS) at all? You can, you know, many don't realize that, all warrants and/or commissioned, or senior NCOs can submit for AFIT, NPS I'm not as sure about for senior NCOs, though I did see YouTube had a video for an Army Sgt. Maj., I think, who'd gone there for his Ph.D., I recall...if you haven't submitted to both, you most definitely should, honest....

Look also at this, they have an online masters, I'd tried to do them when I was in, I'd really wanted to, it just took too much time, and I had to do more engineering, so I was never able...NPS also has an online Ph.D. in comp sci (CS), if you might be inclined in that direction...just some food for thought, honest....

And what specific research interests do you have? Look also at this, ops research is frequently overlooked by a major, the journal from this group is quite good, honest....

I didn't do what you do when I was in, however, I was around very serious highly relevant science, if you'd ever care to chat, for a long time, if such things might possibly interest you at all, so far as you might care to discuss, no rush, obv, whenever you'd want, of course...I got the AUSA-Army ROTC mil history award for 78 for a paper I did for my ROTC PMS on wargaming, he had a very serious interest in it that kindled my interest in it as well, that's why I became quite engrossed in ops research back then....

While I have masters I do not have a masters in intelligence however I'm willing to be a sounding board to bounce any questions. I have an extensive IT background so might be of assistance in the SIGNIT gathering/securing aspects in regards to collection and ethics. As well worked on some non classified IARPA projects in statistical analysis in predicting geopolitical events. Regardless best of luck in pursuing your masters degree.
