Did you know that there was a man who actually endured both atomic bombings? He has since passed, but he was the only person on the planet who was a confirmed dual hibakusha, making him either the luckiest or the unluckiest man alive. Whenever I think life gets too rough and I am in over my head, I think of this man and realize I am feeling sorry for myself. Some people are as hard as woodpecker lips.

He was three times lucky; to have survived two atomic bombs at close range, and then to survive the radiation/cancer effects to die an old man.

Can you imagine surviving that and then going to work for the ones that dropped the bombs?

I would say a little bit of both. Talk about being at the wrong places at the wrong times. He must have some amazing stories to share.

And hey, he proves that you don't really glow from radiation...LOL
