So much on the shelf, I'm going to have to get another shelf, not to include the reloading ammo, that occupies two drawers in a 4 draw filing cabinet.

Absolute minimum ever on hand two full standard combat load outs. But I never let myself get that low.

Only 2 times you can have too much ammo. If you are on fire, or if you are trying to swim. Other than that stockpile as much as you can afford.
