It is very likely that the niche of veterans oriented media is just too small to exploit into a viable product for recruiters to learn, understand, and leverage....that and have you read some of the Internet banality that goes on here? Probably for the best that recruiters are not on here in force. Additionally, defense contractor flavored jobs are drying up right now. It is easy for the ones that do need people to find them through informal networks, or hire back past performers.<br /><br />You also have to look at what else is out there.<br />- Clearance Jobs. If you are looking for someone with a clearance and is a spark chaser, signaleer, satellite flyer, Intel or and &quot;operator&quot; that is where you shop.<br />- LinkedIn. You will have a wider variety to pick from. This has become one of the key standards<br />- Monster. Yes people still use it<br />- Glassdoor. This is interesting as people can shop the company while the company shops for you.<br />- Indeed. A clearing house of other clearing houses. <br />- Facebook. To quietly snoop behind people to make sure they are not a hot mess before you hire them. I suppose that the fact that civilians are now allowed, this is a legitimate concern.
