Many argue that homosexuality is a mental illness resulting from sexual and other trauma. How much should this affect how we view LGBT?

Feel free to chime in on how much it should be about supporting others' wishes to be who or what someone believes they were meant to be versus focusing on the "why".

That red herring has been discarded long ago by all but those who cling to any reason to justify their bigotry against those different from them.

Personally I'm not worried where a man sticks his dick so long as its not near me or mine

Ha, Jarheads are hilarious on this issue. First they say it is OK (including their chain of command), then not OK, then better a Homosexual in the Infantry than a Woman.
Then they have these barracks level conversations on who is and who is not a Homosexual in their own ranks. It just goes on and on. You'll never find a more inconsistent service on the face of the Earth for dealing with this issue than the USMC. It is hilarious to watch from the outside.

As long as no kids are involved, all participants are reasonably willing and barnyard animals are kept to a minimum, I could care less how people apply friction to their naughty parts.
