SFC Josh Billingsley1190392<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently took a position as a technology recruiter and one of my clients is a DOD contractor looking for folks with a deep understanding of Java and the ability to get a Secret or TS/SCI depending on the role. This is a great company and I wanted to know if there were any groups specifically for vets in the IT market that i could extend this out to. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.Looking for advice on finding prior service developers with clearances (current or expired)2015-12-21T15:55:38-05:00SFC Josh Billingsley1190392<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently took a position as a technology recruiter and one of my clients is a DOD contractor looking for folks with a deep understanding of Java and the ability to get a Secret or TS/SCI depending on the role. I'll cast around and see if any of my old contacts can help. Good luck with your search...Response by CPT Jack Durish made Dec 21 at 2015 4:04 PM2015-12-21T16:04:15-05:002015-12-21T16:04:15-05:00CDR Kenneth Kaiser1190596<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am none of those, I worked in various capacities but like the previous respondent I too am retired. That being said, have you considered Reserve Centers? They get a lot of freshly separated as well as drilling reservists who might be in the categories you are looking for and it would make their job easier because they can help point freshly separated or working folks to new positions via your firm. I know when I first separated one of my concerns was employment.Response by CDR Kenneth Kaiser made Dec 21 at 2015 6:14 PM2015-12-21T18:14:16-05:002015-12-21T18:14:16-05:00SFC Josh Billingsley1191287<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thanks for the feed back. I have reached out to the National Guard career liaisons and local reserve centers, but a lot of the talent I am looking for will have transitioned several years ago.Response by SFC Josh Billingsley made Dec 22 at 2015 9:27 AM2015-12-22T09:27:00-05:002015-12-22T09:27:00-05:00Capt Bob Abbott1194104<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would recommend posting on veteran pages on Linked In, or on the Dysfunctional Veterans page on Facebook. Also, Veteran Insider is a group in Texas focused on helping vets get jobs, speak with Brian Rucker and he can find you some people.Response by Capt Bob Abbott made Dec 23 at 2015 5:44 PM2015-12-23T17:44:16-05:002015-12-23T17:44:16-05:002015-12-21T15:55:38-05:00
