Spent almost two years in schools to start out. I actually arrived at my first duty station 3 days short of my two year anniversary. The first year I was in training mostly and did a tour overseas in Okinawa (prior service Marine). My 1st enlistment was packed with so much intensity and change in lifestyle. Not just learning complex various skills for working in the military, but also social and personal.
