Haha, the Army makes some things before the Navy, but there's something to be said for not being the service that spends all of their money on R&D. It needs to be a healthy balance or the budget gets destroyed, but if one service can take advantage of the others' development, it's all the better for our military as a whole.

But of course I'm Navy, so yes, we're the best! *end sarcasm?*

The navy relay on "hardware" to win a fight. That is the reason navy spend so much on R&D. No amount of sailors can replace a carrier. :) You can have 500K sailors ... it mean nothing if all the ship is as old as 1940 built.

On the other hand, the Army with 500k with outdated 1940s gun ... that is a very bad ass army .. :)
