Lightweight Maintenance Enclosure Extension capabilities? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/lightweight-maintenance-enclosure-extension-capabilities

We have a discussion going about Lightweight Maintenance Enclosures. TM 10-5410-284-13&P is what we are using. The LME is capable of being joined to another LME with the Extension Assembly (WP 0005 00-23). It is also capable of having a 8-FT extension kit placed on it (WP 0007 00-1). In WP 0005 00-9 there is a diagram of the Intermediate Fabric Panels that are used on the LME.

Look at the image. See the becket laces, grommets, and the duct placement? The panels are only built one way. You just have to turn one panel 180degrees and you are able to get your LME up.

What would prohibit us from adding another Intermediate Panel section (16ft) and extending the LME from 32ft to 48ft, making the LME 3 sections instead of 2?

Just lace it on or what? It seems more secure to add another section from an existing LME to the constructed one rather than build one and attach it to the first LME.
