5 December will be the 70th Anniversary of the Decommissioning of the 1st Special Service Force. A joint Canadian and US Special Purpose Force that paved the way for our Special Forces tradition. If you don't know about the unit, I recommend reading up on it. Some of the toughest guys to put on a uniform.

Thanks for the reminder about the "Black Devils," CW2 Donald Loughrey. I checked out their web site (http://www.firstspecialserviceforce.net/), where I learned some more military history.
