If you watch the people (who aren't "just like us" and) who aren't a threat closely enough, you simply don't have the time or resources to watch the people who are a threat (but whom you don't want to admit are a threat because they are "just like us").
The key demographic which should be being "profiled" for is "an individual who is actually likely to be a threat - based on past personal actions and statements" and NOT "everyone in a whole class of people without any regard to what that individual has given signs they might do - simply because someone else in that class of people has done something bad in the past [oh yes, and because they are easy to identify because 'everyone knows' that 'those people' are 'all alike'".

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could see all the signs before the that we can see after the act.

Capt (Join to see) - Captain; Generally the signs ARE there to see. "When looking for the truth it behooves one to occasionally open one's eyes."

I recall my grandfather whale retired had worked as retired (silver star recipe) would bring me to work appraisal homes for FHA. Celebrate the life of the building because I have a story or two being chased by older folks. Caught playing in elevator, never knowing that they the old folks thought I was supposed to be in the child care center when we were actually dropping off paperwork
