I work in a hospital, and my NCOs forget to tell me and my Sailors information i.e. forget to inform our department about UAs, training, etc. They have admitted to my juniors that they forget about us, just because we are in a different AO.

Be pro-active SGT Davis.  Ensure that you contact your NCOIC twice daily - once in the morning and once in the evening before COB.  Ask him/her in the evening what is on the schedule for tomorrow.  In the morning ask him/her what, if any changes, occurred overnight.  Insert yourself into the process.  Remember, keeping your Soldiers informed is your responsibility.  Find a way to make it happen.

MSG Stankovich said it best in my opinion. While they may be lacking it is your responsibility to keep your Soldiers informed. Take the initiative and pick up a phone.
