Leader development scenario - altered PT gear, record PT test, what would YOU do?

You are participating in a record Army Physical Fitness Test. This is a three event test (push-up event, sit-up event, 2 mile run).

After the push-up event is completed, the sit-up event begins and you move to hold the feet of a female Soldier.

After the first 30 seconds, you notice the Soldier has cut out the liner from the shorts and the Soldier is not wearing any underwear or spandex and they are completely exposed. What would YOU do?

CSM Michael J. Uhlig - I would stop her testing and tell her to get into appropriate attire, to be re-tested at a later date. I believe the regulation still requires underwear, does it not?
Another option, which I would not opt for, would be to have a female hold her feet for that event.

Well I think I have commented CSM, on a thread like this. But if it was ME, Would have her stop! tell the grader and find at least a Female sergeant over and explain why I stopped the event and have the female NCO address the situation with the SM. IF one is NOT present at the time then At least find the Senior NCO or the OIC and have them there with the Grader to explain why I stopped her doing the event. Then we would decide if to continue the event with a female to hold her feet or have the SM either purchase new shorts and complete another PT test at a different time. Have her go to the barracks (if close) and change shorts or put on spandex to continue the PT test if time allotted.

Stop holding her feet, and direct her to follow me to the NCOIC and/or OIC of the APFT. Inform them of the situation and return back to the test. If the female Soldier is embarrased, tough noogy. She had created a possible sexual harassment complaint by her own doing...........and broke regulations by altering her uniform and not wearing the appropriate attire.

Stop immediately, and take her immediately to the senior NCO in her chain of command present. You asked this previously CSM Michael J. Uhlig, are testing us?
