He decided on his own to enlist. I told him it&#39;s a good way to learn about himself and what he wants to do with his life, whether he decides to do 4 yrs or 20. She completed her BSA and went to the Marine Corp OCS, Marines against my Army's better judgement, but I supported her decision and she supported mine, well most of it. (The Marine!!). I have two children who have expressed interest in the military and I am upfront and honest with them about the good and the bad. I let them know it is their decision and if they would like help or advice I would be more than willing to give what I could but ultimately it is their career and as such I wouldn't force my opinion on them.
