Finally, it can be reported: Joe Biden is running for president, unless he isn't. He will announce his decision this weekend, unless he doesn't.

If he does, I honestly believe he will pander to the lowest common denominator, he will play on the heart-strings, and will keep his policies and political platform to a minimum.

I believe the deciding factor is the viability of Clinton's campaign. If it looks like Clinton can't get the nomination, he will jump in and try to ensure Sanders doesn't get it. If he jumps in before then, he risks splitting the Clinton vote and helping Sanders which he doesn't want to do.
