JKO/ALMS COURSES FOR MIL ED

I recently started doing the jko and alms courses that have erb codes for resident/military education. I got them updated and made cutoff this month. Now my S1 audited my records and say they are not valid for the military ed section of my erb. Has anyone had this issue before? Is there a regulation/milper message that covers my situation? I am having a problem like that. Just finally made enough points to be top on the list to check today and all of my jko/alms resident courses gone. Plus 77 hours of cc. I am going to S1 Monday to see whats up. I called one of them today and they didn't get any messages so hopefully they can resend them and add it before the 8th. Hopefully we both can have a better month.

Stasilaitis, I know some guys in the same boat. Any word on that situation?

Yes they are correct , Military Ed which is Section 6 on the ERB(Enlisted Records Brief) is usually for 40 plus hour courses that’s resident courses but Your Jko/Alms courses(The ones that has DL Beside them) which means it gives you distance learning points will show on your PPW( promotion points worksheet DA Form 3355 and show how many military DL hrs and how many points it gives you which are every 5 hrs of those correspondence courses equals 1 PT so in example 20 DL hrs equals 4 points. On your ERB in your military Ed section at very bottom that says correspondence CRS Total hrs. I know my msg was long but hope this did help you in some type of way.

AR 600-8-19 Enlisted Promotions and Reductions has a section regarding promotion points and what counts and what is accepted for points as well and courses
