My Uncle graduated from MCRD on 23 December 1978 with platoon 3111. He had to leave early so was unable to walk with his platoon on graduation. As a result he was unable to get his boot camp photo. I am trying to help him obtain that. Is there anyone out there that can help us out?

A number of old boot books have been posted. If you join, you can look up others in your unit and send them an email. I'll get off my butt someday and upload my boot and maybe some cruisebooks from Antarctica.Response by CAPT Kevin B. made Jul 9 at 2024 1:29 AM2024-07-09T01:29:05-04:002024-07-09T01:29:05-04:00Sgt Jim Belanus8810394

USAF has the following site, http://www.bmtsflightphotos.af.mil. I have been asking myself this questions for over 50 years. I mailed a querry at the basic training facility at Parris Island S.C. with some basic information about my unit and timeframe. I never got an answer. I was in the USMC basic training from Nov 4 1969 to about January 1970.
