People who live in trailer parks often say they are abducted by aliens. I don't think that it happens as often as people claim it is stated. Elections are won, they are never lost.

I disagree. You have to understand the issues that drive voters, identify the blocks you need to win, what states you need and how to win them. For Republicans it is very very difficult because the "news organizations " are far less than fair or honest in dealing with Republicans. The Democrats have some givens that give the Democrats a large advantage, California and New York. So you need good tactics and strategy to win as a conservative.
