I have some good friends that are members of the SCV, that put on reenactments and camps throughout GA in an effort to reinforce the history of our nation, not just the Confederacy, I find it disheartening and disappointing that states that had only "yesterday" had no issue with the plates, not to mention the extra $ it generated in revenue, now deem it inappropriate for a historical society to display a part of their heritage. Alas though, it is what it is...... For others it is a symbol of an oppressive system from a bygone era. Let these individuals have their flags. Freedom of expression. The Klan used to put up a cross down town at the fountain square where I am from for Christmas and I really did not care. It was only when I had gotten older that I truly understood and learned what that was about. I used to watch Dukes of Hazard and had thought that the Confederate Flag was the coolest flag ever because of the car; until again I had learned what it was really about. But again in conclusion let the flags stay and keep Fort Bragg ...Fort Bragg.
