Is there is a way to do a two year CSP with an assignment to Korea?

I have just received assignment instructions the 2 ID, Aviation replacement at Camp Humphreys, I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way I could do a two year CSP?

Command Sponsorship when approved is automatically a two year tour. It all depends on your MOS and assignment whether CSP slots are available to you.

1st verify on your orders if the unit even authorizes command sponsorship. From what I hear 2ID has stopped CSP in Area 1 (north of Seoul) but Im not sure about at Humphries (south of Seoul).

If your orders don't say CSP is not authorized, go to the USFK homepage (http://www.usfk.mil/usfk/) click on CSP on the right side and follow the directions. If you find out you will be able to apply for CSP, the first thing you need to do is take your family to the on post hospital and get them an EFMP screening. This usually takes the longest of the different steps you will need to take.

you should also get an email from your sponsor and you can ask them as well for specific contact info.
