Nothing wrong with that being that men are stupid sometimes, but when alcohol is involved, who's word is golden? She doesn't remember something, and neither does he, but there's a good chance his career is over based off an bad thought or assumption of what happened the night before. Both parties should think before acting when it comes to sex, especially when alcohols involved, but alas it doesn't happen that way. I also know that most of the sexual assault briefings are catered towards the thought that the man has done wrong. So a woman cannot have her way with a drunken man? Sounds weird, but you cannot have it just one way. Look how it is always played out in the media. I think a lot of folks feel that because the male owns the equipment he's the only one that bears the responsibility for when where and how it is used. When both are intoxicated though, who's to say. Most of the videos and examples used are typically women being the victim and men being the aggressor. Favors males in most of Asia and the Middle East. In our culture it tends to favor the women but that's a change form say around 40 years ago. The "Yes means yes" notion floating around is a recent attempt to have something that offsets males thinking with their puny brain. Interesting thing is socially women are encouraged to report while men are not. Although the first in to report does get favored, that gap has narrowed a bunch over the past 10 years but is still there. There's also an increase in "revenge reporting" just to get even for being ditched for being a butt. We'll never get it fully right as the moral values keep adjusting, hence whatever was put in place last year was already out of date. Welcome to humanity. CAPT Kevin B. As a police officer in domestic violence cases the law in my state says, "You SHALL arrest a person who commits domestic violence." Most laws say you MAY arrest, but not domestic violence. Somebodies going to jail. It is pretty black and white when only one person has marks of a struggle, but what happens when both do? I always gauged it on who was able to leave. A 6' 240 pound man and a 5'3" 140 pound woman - the guy was going to jail. It has went the other way every once in a while, but not very often.

I think the same applies here. Who was able to leave or to stop the advances of the other? You just slip and fall into sex. Somebody has have the ability to preform the act. I would say that would be the man in most cases.
