Is there anyone out there who could help me figure out how to find my college credit hours from training?

I was separated with a General under "honorable conditions" discharge and I was wondering if there's any way I could see my info to transfer to a college

look up Joint Service Transcript, and have it sent to your college of choice for official evaluation, or download/print for your own records. Here's the link: https://jst.doded.mil/

Go to either an education advisor or your S3 for your JST. Or just google JST.

If you are currently an active service member or have a CAC card and were prior enlisted, you do not need to register for a JST account.

Official JST, as SFC Josh Billingsley stated, and VMET will help you. Also, send copies of any training certs and/or check to see if the course(s) is ACE (American Counsel of Education)-evaluated. If you go the brick-and-mortar route, look for internships with the college SVO. If you want certs, check out VCTP. If you have more questions, ask and use more tags so more people see it.

Work on some projects to supplement your college work, and later talk with DAV for help with upgrading your discharge. There should be a DAV near you.

Thank you all for the information. I'm not able to get into the JST site. It keeps saying my personnel record couldn't be located. Could it be because I was in the USAF?

You should be able to go to your education center on post and they will be able to translate that for you

You have to download your official military transcript and take it to the college you want to attend. Most colleges have a va rep who can help you.

Joint Service Transcript. However, be forewarned, not every school gives credit for service related training/education.

Here are my JST scores (College credit for completing (11B Infantry School OSUT training) For me, I was unable to utilize these credits because I had already completed all my electives and GE requirements. I did not even think about college credit for my military service until I had almost completed with my Bachelor's Degree Program

Did you print out your VMET? I believe that's your military education transcript. I had to print mine out before separation. It basically contains everything you "learned" in the military from boot camp classes and PME courses to the optional classes we take for promotion. It'll even break down how many credits each thing is worth.

Also keep in mind that each school is going to have their own rules and policies on what they accept for credits for classes or not. And most of the time, you won't know what will or won't be accepted until you're talking to a counselor or advisor.

A1C Bates - one issue I can already see is you may not have much to transfer. My assumption is you finished Basic and Tech school which could get you some credits depending on your AFSC but if your tech school wasn't evaluated by ACE, you won't get any credits. Had you completed your CCAF, you would be in a better position as some schools will transfer that as an associates degree. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the JST covers AF.
