Is there anyone around the Joint Base MDL that enjoys cycling?

Hi all,

I'm new to cycling (about 150 miles since July 5). Wondering if anyone is in the Joint Base MDL area who rides/runs. I'm slow at both, but would enjoy meeting some like minded folks.

I used to, but then I started working too hard, so I'd just start my mornings with swims at the Dix pool. Of course, that was before 2000!

It is a great place to do that, as long as you have that pt belt, and know the area there are plenty of places to go around. Check with the MWR, by the covered swimming pool, by doughboy loop and w 10 street, maps of trails, clubs, etc.

There is a group on base that rides during the week. I know a person who rides with them. I will get some info and post it for you.
