I say "begrudgingly" because I consider myself a Libertarian. Ben Carson is for increased gun-control in "high crime areas." Both men are against same sex marriage (I am 100% heterosexual but support gay marriage).

Dr. Paul is 100% against the Patriot Act and any/all forms of gun control for law abiding citizens, and I can definitely get behind that.

In fact, the majority of what both men claim they stand for I can support but as always with all politicians, I don't agree 100% with them.

Unfortunately, too many people are blinded by party lines, and the travesty known as the Electoral College means that a viable third party candidate will never get elected, even if they switch parties (as Dr. Ron Paul, Rand Paul's father did when he switched from the Libertarian to the Republican Party). Too many "old school" party members will shun them and they won't be taken seriously, and too many people are blinded by party lines.

I say, "Wake up America. Your party doesn't care about what you think. Elect a real person instead of a corporate representative!"
