I am assuming you are being separated, so you will receive your transition orders no earlier than 6 months to your report date. No earlier than 10 business days will you receive clearing papers. once you receive orders, you can go to transportation and HHG, but that's about it.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 3 at 2020 5:05 PM2020-03-03T17:05:29-05:002020-03-03T17:05:29-05:00LTC Eugene Chu5624625

AR 635-200 focuses on Army enlisted discharges. Although clearing is usually post specific, the regulation does mention eligibility for types of dischargesResponse by LTC Eugene Chu made Mar 3 at 2020 5:07 PM2020-03-03T17:07:37-05:002020-03-03T17:07:37-05:00SGM Bill Frazer5624926

Look, each Post has its own timeline and clearing process. Some give 30 days (if you have dependents/base housing) some do a 2 week schedule if you have made all your appts/physical. Our unit will not let ypu set on your ass tho waiting for orders.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Mar 3 at 2020 6:44 PM2020-03-03T18:44:04-05:002020-03-03T18:44:04-05:00LTC Jason Mackay5625523

PV2 Timothy Maciel did you read the Imstallation clearance record form? it has the Regulation that covers it , AR600-8-101 on top of the form....all Army forms list the regulation that covers its use on it. Para 3-1 to 3-5 are probably your focus area.

Para 3-2: . Soldiers will be given a minimum of 5 working days to out-process unless it is locally determined that Soldiers can out-process quicker.

Para 3-5: (3) Soldiers who PCS or transition will report to the PROC CS no later than 10 duty days prior to the scheduled depar- ture date to receive a briefing on installation- or community-level clearance procedures.

Installations add to this their local policies, which is in AR635-200Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Mar 3 at 2020 9:43 PM2020-03-03T21:43:27-05:002020-03-03T21:43:27-05:002020-03-03T16:59:33-05:00
