You were only given two shots at the test and if you failed you couldn’t continue.<br /><br /> Unfortunately I was let go from the program before this point because I have a shellfish allergy. <br /><br />Does Army ROTC have a test similar to this? If so what is it called, I’d like to start preparing for it.Is there an AFOQT-type test for Army ROTC?2018-10-06T17:39:46-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member4024055<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was in enrolled in AFROTC and we needed to pass the AFOQT. Currently required to do 2 minutes of push-ups, 2 minutes of sit-ups, and a 2 mile run. Look up APFT score bracket on google to see what you need to pass. Each program is different on how they keep you as a member before you commission.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 6 at 2018 5:43 PM2018-10-06T17:43:32-04:002018-10-06T17:43:32-04:002LT Private RallyPoint Member4024072<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No there is not. As an SMP Cadet, the only qualifications for Army ROTC is a 19 ACT score or 110 GT score from the ASVABResponse by 2LT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 6 at 2018 5:47 PM2018-10-06T17:47:00-04:002018-10-06T17:47:00-04:00COL Jon Thompson4024204<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you are a college student, you can enroll in ROTC as long as it is before the 3rd year of the program. However, to contract with ROTC, you need to meet the academic standards, pass the APFT, get medically qualified, and make sure you do not have any legal issues. Each program has someone responsible for recruiting so you should talk to that person at the school you are interested in. He or she can tell you the specific requirements and what you need to do to be competitive for a scholarship or non-scholarship option.Response by COL Jon Thompson made Oct 6 at 2018 6:48 PM2018-10-06T18:48:29-04:002018-10-06T18:48:29-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member4029357<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you have a shellfish allergy you may not be able to continue at allResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 8 at 2018 6:57 PM2018-10-08T18:57:19-04:002018-10-08T18:57:19-04:002018-10-06T17:39:46-04:00
