PFC Private RallyPoint Member 5501876 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hi, so I am a guardsman that is currently trying to get into an EMT-B class. I know that I can use go into GoArmyEd to put in for TA to cover programs through a college or university (such as EMT), but I was wondering about if I could do the same for courses put on through third-party agencies. The local community college runs and EMT course, but the third-party agency&#39;s course is happening much sooner (so I could get it done faster) and the community college&#39;s course usually fills up very quickly. It is my understanding that the Army&#39;s credentialing program covers test fees, but not course fees and that TA can be used for certifications if you don&#39;t already have a bachelor&#39;s (correct me if I&#39;m wrong). The issue that I&#39;m running into with the third party course, is that, because it is not a college or university, it doesn&#39;t show up when I go to change my school info on GoArmyEd. Does this prevent me from being able to use TA for the course? Is there a way to use TA for an EMT-B through an agency? 2020-01-30T21:13:48-05:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 5501876 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hi, so I am a guardsman that is currently trying to get into an EMT-B class. GI Bill is a little more flexible. I would suggest reaching out to your States Adjutant General’s Office for clarification.<br /><br />For the sample in Ohio - see this link: <a target="_blank" href="https://ong.ohio.gov/programs/education/index.html">https://ong.ohio.gov/programs/education/index.html</a>.<br /><br />Good luck. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://ong.ohio.gov/programs/education/index.html.">The resource cannot be found.</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by SPC David Fulmer made Jan 30 at 2020 9:25 PM 2020-01-30T21:25:44-05:00 2020-01-30T21:25:44-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5502861 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Army just launched a credentialing assistance program, ARNG personnel are eligible as of 1 JAN 2020.
