Is there a way to pull OCIE turn-in information from my old unit, 5 years after I left? If so, how?

It has been 5 years since I was in NG, I moved from one unit to another out of state so did a full turn in etc. Was approved, got my transfer papers, did my time, decided to be done and did another full turn in, and got my papers. Just got an email from the first unit I left saying we are missing such and such things. Is there a way to pull the information from then or am I just screwed?

The only way I know of is if you had a signed hand receipt saying it was turned it. Hopefully, some others will have more insight. Supply is not my specialty.

I got one of those about five years after I left. Luckily I had my turn in documents from then. The unit will need to appoint an investigating officer for the FLIPL who you can talk to and dispute their claim

Are you out completely? If not all the OCIE databases between the army services are the same. I turned in most of my regular army stuff at the same National Guard USPFO that I did a draw from 3 months later and then cleared a year after that to take a job in the reserve.

They need to do a FLIPL for the equipment they lost accountability of. It sounds like a straight forward FLIPL as well.

5 years later is ridiculous. There has been AT LEAST one change of Command where the Commander had to sign for and account for everything. This is a FLIPL, and good luck on them trying to prove you still have this stuff, AND that you are still responsible for it through that chain of Command - especially when the unit cleared you.

End state, you may have to answer some questions, and maybe even provide paperwork if you have it, but there is almost no (I won't say ABSOLUTELY no) possibility of this coming back on you.
