Is there a way to overturn a disapproved wavier?

The wavier in question in question was for chest and lungs despite my EKG and X-rays having positive result and a signed document from my personal doctor stating that I was good health and my chest deformity did not inhibit My heart and lungs from functioning normally it was still denied by the command surgeon.

Talk with your recruiter to see if he can arrange for you to speak with leadership.

Speaking to the Recruiter Leadership will not change the disposition from the COMMAND SURGEON. What is the deformity? you need to look in the medical standards, AR 40-501 and the DOD INSTRUCTION 6130.03. It is not up to your personal physician or the recruiter or the recruiters leadership. If you do have a deformity that falls in the "does not meet the standard" isle, then you are putting yourself and others in a precarious position. Furthermore, just because you are "good to go today" does not mean you will be good to go in a austere environment.
