I'm an E-3 in the NG looking to go Active Duty as soon as possible with my wife and two dogs. Only problem is that one is a pitbull and the other is a pit mix. Besides living off base or giving them up, is there a way I am able to move on base and keep them?<br /><br />Thank youIs there a way to get my pitbull to be able to live on base with my family and me?2021-06-28T15:19:42-04:00SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member7075247<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I posted a large question with multiple subjects in it and got told to try breaking them up so here it goes. There is usually no exception to policy for this. Depending where you're at, living off base is almost always better anyway.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 28 at 2021 3:24 PM2021-06-28T15:24:49-04:002021-06-28T15:24:49-04:00SSgt Christophe Murphy7075329<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Regardless if you are on base, off base or anywhere in-between if there is a policy prohibiting Pitbull's you will always have to struggle with this hurdle.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Jun 28 at 2021 3:53 PM2021-06-28T15:53:20-04:002021-06-28T15:53:20-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member7075465<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Every posts housing is going to tell you no pitbulls. You'll see lots of people on post with Pitt bulls and mixes. It's not allowed, but I've never seen it enforced anywhere.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 28 at 2021 4:54 PM2021-06-28T16:54:40-04:002021-06-28T16:54:40-04:002021-06-28T15:19:42-04:00
