Is there a way to filter out job postings in notifications?

I think it's awesome that companies are posting job opportunities on RallyPoint. But they're blowing up my notification queue in my iPhone app. Is there a way of setting filters?

GySgt Private RallyPoint Member thank you for your Service. My guess is that if a suggestion is made and enough people have a similar sentiment, from what I read RP will do what they can to appease the request.

A possible solution might be a job board where you are able to select your preferences and only receive a single notification.

You can also select the Feedback tab to make a request.

Have you tried to go to your Rallypoint Email settings and in the notifications portion choose to get alerts and notifications turned off or limited to weekly, daily etc. Hope it helps. Thank you.

I am in the same boat here. I like following job notifications and the career related boards, but over the last several weeks, it is being spammed with jobs for phlebotimists. I know there are a handful of medical type MOSes that it may apply to, but is there a point to 50 postings? How about 1 post with all the jobs and a link to the page that has all the jobs? This is a discussion forum and not a job board. I would almost consider it a form of spamming.

You can't filter specific job postings, but within the Group itself (Civilian Career) you can select "Following" found at the top right of the page. This will "Unfollow" the Group.

This will eliminate all notifications from the group so you need to figure out if that is preferable or not.
