SGT Bryon Sergent 3207040 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>At My unit we are required to take gear home because there is no where to store at the armory. Is there a reg that states that it is to be stored at the unit and signed out? I know that in my last 2 units in 2 other state that we had to sign the gear out if taking home to wash or to repack or to inventory it. Any help would be appreciated. Is there a regulation, whether by State or Bureau, on taking issued gear (TA-50) home or storing in the armory? 2017-12-28T16:23:04-05:00 SGT Bryon Sergent 3207040 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>At My unit we are required to take gear home because there is no where to store at the armory. Its the only way your unit will know who has what. As far as storage, thats probably up to your unit. I always took mine home. Didn&#39;t want something walking off. I know with younger or newer soldiers most units probably (should) have them keep their stuff at the armory so they don&#39;t forget anything. I would ALWAYS recommend to soldiers to bring their gear with them to ensure that it stays &quot;theirs&quot;.
