I'm sure the intent is for a more paperless/transferable record in a similar way the S1 has done.<br /><br />Sadly it seems every command has a different translation of the standard. I would suggest calling your battalion S3 which will make your life easy before your next OIP.<br /><br />DTMS is your database of record. However, what documents are needed for a Soldier to go to school or inprocess their next duty station should be kept on file for ease of access.<br /><br />Occasionally the Army is "the department of redundancy department."
